Organic Red Clover Tea

In the Know

The round, pink flowers of clover are a familiar sight in meadows and on hillsides across the world. Once limited to parts of Europe, Asia and Africa, this clover is able to adapt to many environments, and has become naturalized to North America and Australia. The plant has long been cultivated as a healthy fodder for animals, but its pretty pink flowers also have a long history of use for creating red clover tea. Many countries have enjoyed this tea for centuries, and it is just as widely respected today, with many fine qualities to offer.

A Potent Herbal Tisane

One of the reasons red clover tea makes for such a great herbal brew is because of the multitude of nutrients found in the clover leaves and blossoms. Red clover tea’s nutrients include vitamin C, vitamin E, thiamin and niacin, along with minerals such as iron, manganese, chromium, potassium and zinc. It also hosts a number of antioxidants, such as beta carotene, isoflavones and eugenol. With these constituents and more, red clover tea proves to be both invigorating and enriching.
