Strawberry Leaf c/s, 1/4 lb

Fragaria vesca is a species of strawberry that naturally occurs throughout the Northern Hemisphere that is also known as European strawberry, Alpine strawberry, woodland strawberry and fraise des bois. Like other species of strawberry, this wild strawberry produces edible fruit that is used to make jam, jelly, pies, syrups and cordials. The leaf, which is harvested after the plant flowers, is used to make teas and tonics, and is also tinctured for use in cosmetic preparations. Dried strawberry leaf is also encapsulated as a dietary supplement.
